Quick to harm mortals that stand in their way, Loa are just has quick to offer protection and power to those that agree to their dark demands. <br> ___ ### 1st Level <br> ##### Loa Spell List You gain additional spells at the Warlock levels listed. They count as occult cantrips for you, but they don’t count against your number of cantrips known. <br><br> ##### Healing Charm At 1st level, your patron has taught you how to create charms that can aid in battle. During a [[Survival Needs#Rest|rest]], you can create a healing charm that can be given to and worn by any creature, including yourself. A creature wearing a healing charm can break it using a bonus action, gaining temporary hit points equal to your 1d4 + your warlock level (minimum of 1).  The amount increases by an additional 1d4 at 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, and 19th level. <br> ___ ### 6th Level <br> ##### Dark Poppet At 6th level, your patron teaches you the method to craft a macabre doll to control and bring misfortune to a person of its likeness. During a [[Survival Needs#Rest|rest]], you can create a poppet; the basic materials for creation are twine, and either straw, twigs, or fabric. When you cast the [[Cursed Spells#Bestow Curse|bestow curse]] spell while holding this doll, you may target a living creature at any distance as long as they are on the same [[Planes of Existence|plane of existence]]. If you use a piece of the target's body as a material components for the casting of the spell, the target makes the saving throw at [[Abilities & Skills#Advantage & Disadvantage|disadvantage]]. The body part may be a lock of hair, a drop of blood, nail clippings or other such item. As long as the doll is intact, you are capable of bestowing other [[Ailments#Minor Curses|minor curses]]. The curse ends early if the doll is broken before the curses duration is up. Once you have cast [[Occult Spells#Bestow Curse|bestow curse]] in this way, you cannot use this feature again until the end of a [[Survival Needs#Rest|rest]]. <br> ___ ### 10th Level <br> ##### Ethereal Protection By 10th level, your patron has taught you how to resist the forces of death and decay. You gain [[Guide to the Shattered Realm/Chapter 7 - Combat/Damage and Healing#Resistance|resistance]] to necrotic damage. You stop aging, and cannot be aged magically. Additionally, your [[Damage and Healing#Death Throes |Death Throes]] succeed on fives. <br> ___ ### 14th Level <br> ##### Spiritual Sacrifice At 14th level, you are able to shed pieces of your soul as an offering to your patron for more power. You may cast a pact spell without consuming a pact slot. If you choose to cast a spell this way, you lose 4d6 hit points, you cannot target yourself with the spell, and you may add the 4d6 you rolled to the total damage or healing rolls of the spell you cast. When you lose hit points as a result of using this feature, your hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts until you finish a [[Survival Needs#Long Rest|long rest]].
